When we started this push to get Timberline to extend their passes I forgot to make one stipulation. If they do not extend them people shouldn’t get all pissed off and act like Timberline owes them something. Because they don’t! Just because they did it one year doesn’t obligate them to do it every year. I’m sure there are several business decisions that go into whether or not the passes get extended and to assume that they decide not to do it just because they don’t want to is pretty short sighted if you ask me. Timberline Lodge is a business. And like all businesses they are in it to make money. And there is nothing wrong with that.
If Timberline decides not to extend the passes, I’m asking everyone to refrain from any disrespect on their Facebook page. Instead, offer up some encouragement and motivation to out due themselves next season. Anything else would be counterproductive…

I didn’t think they would be able to do it. Not with so little snow. Not as good as last year. No way! I’m talking about the Park Department being able to build a park that was as good as Paintbrush last year. Well from what I saw today, I think they’ve done it. And hopefully it will be finished by tomorrow. Stay tuned for a full report in the next day or two. After we get done testing that baby out.
Time to step it up kids…

Is anyone out there checking out the “Official” Timberline Parks Page? I noticed no one ever comments on any of their posts. I figure it’s either one of two things. Everyone is to shy. Or Timberline’s park staff is so on it they don’t need any input. If the latter is the case, please comment anyway. Those comments are a direct line to the people responsible for making the parks sick. So even if all you have to say is keep it up, it’s super important they hear it. We are trying to create a truly rider driven park so any input is good input.
