Progression is a double edged sword. Some people swear no snowboard trick should go past 900. But what do you progress on when you kill every trick in the world?
I say if you can do it with style then skies the limit.
What do you think?

On this Martin Luther King jr. holiday, remember that there are still these dip shit mountains out there that don’t allow snowboarders. Stop the segregation…hahaha

I didn’t get any photos of the park today but I did take a few runs. Oh what a feeling to get a change of scenery. Not to mention some jumps that actually give you a little hang time. I love to be able to style out some tricks finally. Hopefully we get some snow so the Park Soldiers can really get buck nasty in there.
Keep it up guys.

Ok so I’ve been slackin’. However, you’ve got to admit, there hasn’t been much to report on. Over 2 weeks of rain and sugary shit snow have kept me on the couch dreaming of better weather. But I think this post will make it all worth the wait. The title says it all! Paintbrush is set to open TOMORROW! I’ve been told it will stay on the small side until the USASA contests are over. Once those are finished, and provided we get some snow between now and then, you can expect the jumps to grow.

I received an email today from Travis Banks, Park Crew Manager at Timberline. He let me know Paintbrush is set to open on January 14th, two days before a USASA slopestyle contest that weekend. For many of us this is when the season officially kicks off. Now that we’ve had some time to get our legs, it’s time to get down on something a little bigger.
Let the filming begin…

Happy New Year everyone. Now that the holiday season is just about over it’s time to get back to business. No more lounging around eating holiday cookies and watching Frosty the Snowman. Get out there and get your shred on, throw your shit on Youtube or Vimeo and get it to me so i can post it. From what I’ve heard from the Park Soldiers, things are really going to get stepped up now that winter vacation is over and the kooks have gone back to school or work.
So stay tuned for all the coverage…
